Acrobatics & Aerial Arts
Acrobatics and Aerial Arts require athletes to control their bodies through challenging positions, transitions, inversions, and dynamic movements. These disciplines demand significant strength, mobility, grip strength, balance, coordination, and body awareness. At Performance Health & Rehab, we tailor our training to the specific apparatus, movements, and physical demands of each athlete.

Building Strength & Control
Our process may focus on shoulder and upper-body strength, grip strength, core control, hip stability, mobility, balance, and full-body strength. We work to develop the physical capacity needed to control the body through both static and dynamic positions, with training selected according to the athlete's discipline and goals.
Complementing Technical Practice & Rehabilitation
Technical instruction remains the foundation of acrobatics and aerial training. Our role is to build the physical qualities that support that instruction rather than teaching or replacing technical skills. Following an injury, we use a progressive rehabilitation approach to rebuild strength, mobility, grip, stability, and body control while gradually reintroducing the specific positions and movements required for the athlete's apparatus.
